It's a borg new world

I've tried to draw this concept a few times. This one is pretty decent. I want to draw more of this things, but I think I really need to do it digitally as it'd be easier for me to digitally paint the mechanical forms than trying to draw them with lines. More and more I lean towards digital painting. I need to work out how to achieve the same kind of thing with traditional.... but you know, not actually painting. I'm sort of working towards it by using a black brush pen and a grey brush pen.
